Death by Earthquake/Tsunami/Radiation

One year ago Japan was struck by a triple catastrophe…
As a Dojo we did try to act immediately using all possible social media as communications tool…
We did concentrate all our efforts as single mindedly as we could, still knowing that our help would be as big as a drop of relief in an ocean of suffering…
At that time there was no time to waste, not even for a simple thank you… Therefore, now, one year later, I would like to officially thank all those who joined us and participated in our effort…
“Thank you, all of you!”

Furthermore, it came to me as an unexpected Honor, when I received a personal invitation from the Ambassador of Japan in Athens in order to attend in a memorial ceremony/reception for all those who died…

The text appearing bellow was one of our “all hands on deck” call, which we did put up and send anywhere we possibly could.

Due to a different culture, historical background and essential training, the Japanese people will not scream, pull their hair, loot, get hysterical or anything likewise.

They will suffer quietly and with dignity their earthquake/tsunami/radiation-poisoning… and what is yet to come!

If you feel and intent like helping in any way, please do it, but do it NOW, without hesitation and delay…
There will be time to admire Japan’s organized calm manners later, when this is over.

As well, there is no point in estimating the distance of this catastrophe from our own backyard…
